An attractively-made, narrated, all-male onanism tape from director John Summers.Young Gladiators showcases six breathtakingly rousing models captured in lingering, voyeuristic photography as they pose, work out, wash cars, jack off, and greater amount. Most episodes are accompanied by an unseen narrator rhapsodizing about every youthful man’s physical beauty while watching him do his thing on sparsely-staged, well-lit sets, accompanied by classical music. The exception is the segment featured Matt Ramsey (in a rare gay tape; bloke is as well known as straight porn megastar Peter North), which features him in a phone booth engaging in freakish slutty talk while guy strokes himself off to climax. Fabrication values are strong throughout, and the movie feels naughty in its voyeurism while likewise tastefully glossy. This beautifully preserved movie copy maintains the integrity of the video’s crisp, clear, sensuous photography, making it even easier on the eyes.
