Set in the 1950s, a waitress, Ember Fiera, is setting up a diner for the morning shift when her military bridegroom, Cliff Jensen, unpredictedly enters. Ember is overjoyed and surprised to see him, running into his arms. It’s revealed that Cliff has returned home from active duty, so gink thought he’d surprise her. Ember is in actuality surprised and appreciative, and offers to make him breakfast. But Cliff cheekily admits that he’s hungry for something Else at the moment… and Ember is happy to indulge him.
